The People and The Real Estate in Tamarack

Tamarack is a community in Edmonton focused on family and convenience. It is a newer community situated on the southeast edge of Edmonton, near areas that include Laurel, Maple and Larkspur. It is just moments away from amenities such as schools, sports fields, parks, playgrounds, shopping and arterial roadways.

Tamarack offers an easy and relaxed way of life to its residents. The Tamarack Recreational Centre is a great place for family and friends to gather and enjoy the activities offered. The simple way of life offered by the community paves the way to a better life that is more relaxed.

Tamarack features an open street plan and well-manicured landscaping. It is close to Whitemud Drive which provides easy commuting, as well as greenbelt paths, parks and more amenities for adventuring in the great outdoors.

The real estate in Tamarack started developing in 2006. The residential plans have adopted features such as spacious decks and yards for hanging out, playing with kids and/or barbecuing with friends and family. Residents can explore the area on foot or a bicycle using the pedestrian paths. The residential plan promotes a family-friendly environment.

The neighbourhood is still developing. The neighbourhood plan calls for a variety of dwelling types that offer amenities such as quick access to two arterial roads along its borders. It also includes shopping areas, a school within walking distance, plenty of green space, paths and trails within a natural habitat, and the Meadows Community Recreation Centre & Library. The Tamarack community has a lot of prospects as it is still in the developing stage.
