The New Community of Calder
Calder, in early 20th century, was a component of the Hudson's Bay Company Reserve and inhabited by Grand Trunk Pacific Railway’s employees.
The Grand Trunk Pacific Railway was connected to Edmonton in 1909. The community which was originally established as a village in 1910, was absorbed into Edmonton in 1917.
